Regional Centers of Excellence
Empoweringlocal communities globally requires a regional approach.
We are implementing seven (7) regional Centres of Excellence (CoEs) that focus on regional opportunities, programs and research to inspire, enable and empower communities.
These Centres of Excellence also provide a co-ordination function for program delivery across the various countries in their region, including; Asia Pacific, Central and East Europe, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, West Europe and North America.
Office of the CEO (Chief Empowering Officer)
The Office of the CEO oversees the global operations of The Future CitiesInstitute, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach in building belief andenabling action for city communities in all corners of the world.
The Office of the CEO performs a broad public affairs role including partner and stakeholder relations, Institute image and brand management, local government advisory services, media management, community relations, strategy implementation, program management and project support.
International Advisory Board
To identify opportunities and coordinate funding from a global perspective are the primary roles of the International Advisory Board,. which is made up of key stakeholders from industry, academia and government, all of whom share the passion to empower local communities in the digital world
IJSEIE
Research outputs from The Future Cities Institute are published in The International Journal of Software Economics, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IJSEIE). The journal focuses on applied research that both informs and aligns industry based programs to develop local software economies and drive economic growth and social benefit.
Country Operations
Our country operations have been established in cities of the future to act as coordinators of national program implementation and integration with our Regional Centres of Excellence.
